I have been questioned (or at least my motives) and several people don't like me or what I do so I am stepping aside and Slab will I am sure pick someone to be the new Mod.

I don't think you should take it as if people don't like you. Very few people have paitence for those who have authority over what they can and cannot say. But without decent rules, we would end up with one big mess. I personally have enjoyed your thoughts and input and like to see repeat orders you or others are sending out, gives me an idea of what people are using to actually catch fish. Don't let the thoughts of a few make your decision... You can please some of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time.

I think you do a helluva job. You're in the buisness, and as a moderator, keeps you in here more often, which in turn helps us keep up with new things. Idk what brought this on, but I hate to see anybody else do the job.

I love this board and really like most of the people on here for sure. I don't take it lightly when people complain that I am trying to push my jig and try to stop everyone else that sells jigs from showing their products.

I have never done that and never had my own jig business in mind when I make a decision to make a comment or stop someone from doing thing I see as out of line. Some don't believe that and that is fine, I don't really care what they think as they are few.

I tie not for profit and don't make a profit except for the materials I buy from what I sell and that is a fact. I know that the build up of materials is pretty large, but I have never taken money out of my jig business to pay bills or anything other than my credit card for that business that I still owe way too much on.

Anyway I have really enjoyed this and we will see, but I don't need people taking shots at me and then doing some of what is in the works now. They actually think I do this to sell my jigs and bully people which is totally crazy.

I guess they think me selling jig is the most important thing I do and it's not by far. As for being Mod here I had a lot of fun with this and teaching other to tie. That is kind of funny though as why would I teach other to tie if I wanted to stop any competition? Silly huh?

You guys don't know how much I appreciate your kind words and saying what you are saying.

I will always be available to any of you that want my input even if I am not on this board I have email that will work as well. I don't plan on leaving the boar totally at this point, but you never know how these things work out.

I even had one that took a shot at my post about my so and how no one replied except for one guy. He was actually using that as proof to say no one here wanted me and by bully ways. Some things are far more important to me than jigs for sure and that I will not forget. I take it as some don't want to talk about injured soldiers as this board is not for that subject, but since I started telling people here about the updates from over 2 years ago I still post things as they come. I know not all like the war and that is fine that they may not feel comfortable about replying to that.
