    Default 3 New Crappie Bucktails

Here's some new bucktails I've been working on for crappie. What do y'all think? The pink one would be pink bucktail but I'm out and have a few on order. I couldn't get the lighting good on it as many times as I tried, sorry.

1/8th oz #1 gold aberdeen hooks.

man i like 'em. you're gonna catch more than just crappie on that second one. Fishhunter might be right the tails look a little long....the fish will let you know though. Good job!

Very nice ties.I wish they made those ultra minnow heads in smaller sizes. This size might scare the crappie in my area but the bass and walleyes would jump on them.

I like em a lot. I would be using them to catch big crappie or take a big ole green fish if they ate it too.

Thanks guys. I did think about cutting the hair shorter, but I've seen enough 3" shad and bream in big crappies stomachs that I decided to do it long. In the water the bucktail lays down a little and doesn't have as big of a profile. But up north where smaller crappies are the norm I would size it down a bit.

Decoy Carver they're the Ultra Minnow mold from Do-It. Got about 100 more to pour up when I get my saltwater hooks for the same mold (with a few modifications).
