Check out my tails

Those color turned out really bright for just being kool aid how well will it stay on in the water does the color soak out at all after being in the water for a while...

Those do look good. I have about 15 Ga. whitetail tails I will be trying this one. I have more tails that I will ever use. I do wonder if that koolaid will come off. Could also use that Rit dye you get at the stores. We used it to make tie dye shirts years ago

The vinegar should set the dye rather well even from cool aid. I have used it to cure eggs and the colors never came out but the eggs also soaked up some of the color.

Finally got around to dying some whitetail flags after they dried out properly. I have been using "northern" tails until I got a few from this years season that were local "southern" deer. The southern tails are shorter and softer and I tend to like them better already. This is what happens when southern tails meet Kool-Aid.
