    this is my first time trying these.1 is thick the other is thin which way do u guys prefer themName:  Picture 102.jpg

    I like the one on the right,if you use to much it can actualy take away from the action.To quote skip( less is more) I think you should get bite on them though.Keep on tying and the habit will be born.

    It is a little hard to see well, but are you stripping the feathers off of the quill? It will have better action if you do and yes don't over bulk them when tying marabou. I like them full, but not so thick.

    Stay thin and strip the feather off of the quill.... You're going to get better action off of it for sure!!...

    Good looking jigs - try using marabou fluffs (1" to 2'') - a lot easier to tie with.
