I'm open to any suggestions, still have a month or 2 at least till ice out.

Which do you think I should go with?
Number 4 all the way! You are on the right track with that one and I guarantee that. Is that the powder blue chenille? I have a lot of that color, but is still new to me and my main color blue that I use is the Copenhagen Blue and if I want a dark blue I use Soldier Blue. Now I have like 6 different blue chenille's, but the two I mentioned are my favs.

I guess the only difference in that one and mine is I powder paint my heads silver4 for that.

Please forgive the pic with a card in it, but it was the easiest to find. The jig at the top left is my main clear water with the sun out jig. Also the one with a FL Yellow Body and blue tail is a great color and seems to catch bigger fish for some reason.

Yes that is hackle and more specific it's strung neck hackle which is a lot different than saddle hackle or stuff used for dry flies.

Skip, yes it is the "powder" blue, not baby blue like I called it. I orig was thinking it was called baby powder blue... realized baby powder isn't quite blue (duh) and went with baby blue. I hope to get some new picts of these tonight after work, they just don't look the same on this screen as they did on my screen at home. I think I need more light on them...

    Thanks All!!

I like the idea of having a two tone chenille body. I hadn't seen it very much either, so that's why my contribution to jig swap #5 has black/orange/black for the body.

I had Danville make me some that is variegated using Copenhagen blue and soldier blue for a different blue. However I think I still like them both separate.

Also with the tail I think most use the Kingfisher blue and I like the Silver Doctor Blue my self best.
