Storage for Jigs

What is a good way to store and keep, tyied jigs, organized? right now, mine are just attached to a swim noodle. Need some ideal's.

I happen to be a fan of the Nubby Tack liners in the plastic fly boxes. I get mine at Cabelas but I'm sure there are other sources.
If I decide to tie up an extra bunch , I just put them in small plastic bags. ole Mike

I just put mine in the regular plastic boxes like the Plano, but that is only the one I make for me. I don't tie ahead for customers and tie them as the order comes in. If I make a mistake on some I have an extra rack I hang them on until I do something with them. I do know you can not anticipate what people will want so tying ahead is not a working way. I have a lot of plastic boxes that mine are in and I can't even tell you how many boxes I have in my boat.

Not sure what you are going to do with the jigs you are talking about though.

I use the fly boxes that have the foam inthem, 1 side has the ripple and the other is flat, but these carry my small jigs 1/80 & 1/64, about all i use.

Same here. It is not profitable to tie ahead of "Anticipated" orders. What is hot one day will be different on the next order.

The ones I personally use for fishin are also in a Plano locking latch box.

for smaller jigs that need protection, I slit drinking straws and slide the jighead forward. I slit the piece of straw to within an eighth inch of the far end and then slip in the jig. This keeps the jig "groomed" and protected. If the jig has hackle sticking out, I cut a foam fun noodle section in half lengthwise, hook the jigs inside and tape the half back on. I've shipped jigs this way and they arrived in great shape.

In using the straws, be sure to get the semi clear straws, you can tell which jig is which in your tacklebox.

I use a restaurant wood box for serving teabags that I got at the thrift store, very nice and felt lined also always smells really good when i open it. Out fishing I just have them either in bags or pill containers in a plano box.
