If you are using a shiny jighead, instead of powder painting or painting, try using a colored Sharpie marker......other than black. The color becomes somewhat transparent, making a nicely colored metallic finish. Put the sharpie in your tacklebox for on the water touch-ups. A red marker will also turn a shiny hook metallic red as well.

can get that same look with some nail pollish theres alot thats transparant and will last longer
