Here's a couple of places where I get the new age or speckled chenille. I really like the stuff. I've bought a lot from both of these sites and have had excellent service from both Julie (Ebay) and Mike (Redshed Fly Shop).

I have bought from them also.Here is another ebay site for a few more colors.I havent used this stuff much but it sure is pretty.

Have had a few colors of this for a while now, but just have not done much with it. I may have a jig or two with a pic on my site, but not sure right now.

I just can't get real excited about it, I have a couple of colors and comparing them one is pretty nice and full, but the other looks thin and small. If this looked like the crystal and tinsel chenille I would like it better. I would say if I tie my self some small jigs (1/32 with a #8 hook say, I may use some then, but on the opposite side if I want a 1/8 oz. jig, don't think it will do well. A double wrap is not going to be enough from what I have.

I like the colors I have, but can't say I have got one wet and have had it for just short of a year I think.

hey i am new to this ebay stuff my wife could do it but i cant let her know i want it. i like one of those colors in fish hunters post. however i dont what it is called or even what to do any input would be good.

The chenille these folks sell is very similar to regular #2 chenille with a small amount of flash of a different color woven in. Those in the swap will see some in Radtexan's and my jigs on swap #3 and on the Roadrunner I made for #4. It will give off an iridescent effect that to me is similar to a live baitfish. It is a different product than the "crystal flash" maribou that is more like stuff you would decorate the Christmas tree with.

Saline, there's not much to it. Both sites listed have the chenille listed. Decide what color you want, arrange with them how to pay for it.

Now the top link goes to a different item and is not the New Age Chenille that was there before.

You can buy this stuff at other places where you can get more items at the same time and then the shipping will not kill your price. I don't see it as a good deal if you buy one item.

Sandwich Maker the New Age chenille I have is all flash and no regular chenille mixed in. I have some of the chenille that is regular and then the crystal variegated in. I have it on my site as new chenille, but it is not new just new to me. However the New Age Chenille is or was new last year as far as I know and I have some of both.

Which one are you talking about?

Thanks for the info Tony,I have been amazed at some of the colors they are producing.You helped me find some of it last year,and I may not go back to regular chenille !!!

Skip it is a blend of reg chenelle with several options for flash combo's.Its a little more expensive and somewhat smaller diameter for #2 but well worth it IMO.

he problem i am having is what the color names are i dont know what the name of the color i like is. if i knew the name i could then make a more educated decision.
