I wonder if fish use the same colors to celebrate Christmas as we do..hmmm they probably use chartruse and pink and red and white or some combo of these colors....your jigs look good to me...esp the red/white and the chart/white ones...bet they both catch fish....imho...brim

i think fish go on vacation during christmas ..... however think about this an let me know a theory on this. it has bugged me for some time now but i haven't tried it. when you buy the materials it is dyed a color. in this dye it has somthing called a UV brightener which the human eye can not see. it just looks bright to us. All aspects of vision depend ultimately on the absorption of light by photopigments. i know humans have three photoreceptors. thats how we see the non uv scale and can make things out to be in red blue and yellow the primary colors. if a fish doesnt contain a mixture of rod and cone photoreceptors. they would be color blind and colors would not show up to them as they do to us.

So if the UV brighteners are in this material we use it may look bright red or green or whatever color to us but if they see blue and yellow only they will see the uv side of these colors as well and that jig will look blue no mater what bright color you put on it. the uv will dominate. I dont know how true this is for fish i know it is a fact for vertebrate animals Like deer.

I cant say I can see from the fishes point of veiw but I do know they react to colors in a big way.Always goes back to they were biting one color then stop,changed color and they started again,so in my thinking they have to see colors or why change?Just my thoughts.

shu I like the jigs and yep the red white will work but like others have said red/chart is the ticket most of the time.
