    Default Fly Tying Desk

I saw where Cabelas has a fly tying desk for $170.00 and I thought that was a bit pricey. I found an old computer desk at a flea market for $14.00 and made a few changes to it. What do you think?

Here is the one I converted for about $14.00 and I can keep it in the shed. I added the tool caddies, storage bins, light (also at the flea market for $3.00) and wire frame (From a toaster oven ) to hold completed jigs. It has rollers so when I want to tie flies I pull the tractor out of the shed and have my own little world.

Works for me and the wife is glad I have all the tying materials in the shed instead of the kitchen table.

i use my computer desk. The vise i got works perfectly with the surface protectors it has on it. Also i use the monitor when im on crappie.com to serve as a back drop when im tieing darker colors.
