    Default Pouring sinkers

I am going to pour my own bank sinkers. My question is which melting system should I use? Will the 110V ladle be enough to pour the mold using the 1/2 through 11/2 oz or should I just buy the Lee pot. Another question is should I buy the bottom pour or the one you use the ladle with.

I use a bottom pour.... Never had a problem with it... just make sre your mold is good and worm before you pour the first ones...

I like the bottom pouring pots as well. If you are going to do 3+ oz. sinkers I would use a large capacity ladle and melting pot. The pouring pots may not flow fast enough for larger sinkers. Like Crappie Kid said, heat your mold up first, laying it over a stovetop burner works fine, or pour a few that you will just put back in the pot to heat it up.

I have the hotpot I and hotpot II. I use one to melt and the second to keep the mold hot. Unless you are pouring pounds and pounds of sinkers these should suit you. The hot pot II is way better with the heating coil under the pot, instead of inside like the hotpot 1.
