    Cabela's, Barlow's, Hook & Hackle, Feather-Craft, Jann's Netcraft and a host of others ...

Any local fly shop will also have it.

Are any of these shops are close to you?

If not, one of the online shops is your best bet.

I've heard good things about these guys, too:

Reason im looking for a good source of kiptails is the "premium select" craft fur you get at Bass Pro shops in St. Charles, MO isnt worth a damn. The pink the red the white and chartreuse in this picture is all the craft fur and it looks like crap outside of a picture.

I don't have a fly shop any where near me at all, NADA and I buy everything on line.

By the time you drive to a local shop and spend the gas money and pay sales tax, you can get the stuff for less and have it delivered to your house.

Then the entire world of materials is at your fingers. Some even have free shipping if you buy over $100 worth. Even paying shipping the prices are less than any local store I have seen and then with the tax, it all should off set the cost of shipping.

You mention Walmart, I have to drive 40 miles to see a Walmart, LOL!

I have found when it comes to calf tail and buck tail there is no such thing as one stop shopping. But if you take all the name found in this thread you will get what you want.

For bucktails look up a local taxidermist and see if they'll give or cut you a deal for some tanned tails. I get them for free from a friend whos a taxidermist. They're not dyed but you could if you wanted to. Personally I use 2-3 times as much white so it works out for me.
