FYI and only my opinion here, but it's not the Sickle hook bend that makes it my favorite it's how sharp they are. Once you get down to the #8 Eagle Claw while it's not as sharp as the Matuzo, it's sharp enough. Besides I am not so sure the Sickle is better if you are looking for a smaller hook anyway.

Try these for #8 hooks, they are not the sickle hooks but they are sharp. like skip said when you get down that small you dont want a wide gap hook

Think twice about ordering from that guy. I got quite a few that had open eyes on the head. He doesn't inspect them before he ships them. Told me to use pliers and close them or ship them back and he'd replace them as long as i paid shipping. Why should i have to pay twice for the same jigs.:confused: Sorry for the rant.
