What do you guys think of my hornet bug?

Messing around with the wedge tails come up with this thing call it the hornet bug.

I like the idea !!! The only thing that I would change is to tie the wings on the hook side so it would look like it was flying right side up.. Just a thought ...

We are still working with that J guy like the way it is right now, but we always up for ideals to change our jigs. I think the action in this one of course I haven’t had it in the water myself, but I think the action in the water would be terrific with the wings working in the tail action. It should be a killer. We will be sending out samples to some of the guys to field test to see what we can come up with I’m pretty sure it will be a wide variety of panfish that will love this little guy. We will come out with more color combination. This time goes by.

Having fun in my shack today guys. Pretty bad tire off job on some of them looks like I gotta go back to school guys after 65 years of jig tying must be getting old.
