    Default Duck spins

Under the weather since I had oral surgery and had last 8 teeth removed from bottom jaw so made a few duck spins that are 3/32 with #1 Trokar hooks. I added glow wedge tails to these so tip of tail glows.Name: IMG_6706.jpg

Jim, hopefully you'll be feeling better soon! That's a lot of teeth to lose all at once.

As always, your ties look superb! I'm sure bass and crappie will eat those up.

A question I have is, what dye do you use to color your duck feathers. I have seen green chartreuse, orange and yellow colored feathers on your previous posts that look very good. Thanks for your help.

I use Cushing perfection dyes mostly but Rit neon dye works too. I made more yesterday and showed these on Facebook. Was asked if I sell them and replied I'm a jig hoarder but make me an offer. Offered $100 and told him sold and I'll throw in a few more. These are sold. Going to order more tying supplies. Name: IMG_6726.jpg

Thanks for the dye info Jim!

Those duck underspins look very "fishy". Perfect for crappie and bass. I'm sure your unexpected customer will be pleased.

I had six pulled across the top front. No fun, I’ll spare ya the details. Love the spins, good way to keep your mind off of the jaw. I haven’t been much lately.

After teeth got pulled I was offered a prescription for pain medication but being a "tough" guy turned it down. Big mistake, first week was brutal. Ibuprofen helped some but glad I don't have to go through that again. I lost a few pounds that first week.
