What is this?

Hey guys I bought this from a guy that bought out an old shop from the 70s. Was hoping it was PB but it's some kind of substitute. But man it's as close as anything I have seen. I have some of the real stuff and this looks and feels the same. Any one know what it is? Would love to look for some more. I got about 25 pieces of both white and black and it's a good 3 to 3 1/2" hair.
