Skip prayers sent for your health and healing
Thanks so much guys, I do really appreciate the prayers and good thoughts!
well here I am almost 6 weeks after surgery and am starting to be able to use that arm/hand more. The worst thing was after the first week I hurt my left shoulder of all things so just the last week it’s getting better too. Actually it’s hurt more than the right one and truth is the right one after surgery it has not hurt at all. I stopped pain meds after 4 days and just didn’t need them at all. Have been sleeping in my recliner since the surgery and hope after I see the doc this week hoping I can sleep in my bed.
over all this is going to be a good thing, but pain in Rehab is just going to start after the doc visit Thursday.
Again thank you all so much!

Thanks for the update Skip!! Keep healing and don’t overdo it.
Thanks for the update and wishing you a speedy recovery.
Stay strong Skip. Stick to the plan!
Good to hear your doing better.
Glad to hear about your progress, friend of mine. I know something about rehab and it isn’t any fun at all. I think of you often and you’re always in my prayers. Just take care of the small stuff, He’ll do the rest. Heal fast now.
Yes Sir, Thank you for the update. Just keep to the plan, don't get carried away and do something you shouldn't, Take care of all the little stuff, and the Lord will handle everything else. Still Praying for you...
Glad you’re getting better skip!! I had my right shoulder replaced three weeks ago today. No pain and already have started therapy. I been sleeping in my bed from day one. I sleep on my left side with my right arm completely supported by a pillow.
Sounds like you’re doing great! I am at 6 1/2 weeks after and yesterday I was able to get rid of the sling/immobilizer and therapist came and I could life my arm almost straight up, like 170 degrees. He said he has never seen that ever with all the shoulder rehabs he’s done. I am feeling great about this!
Good luck with the rest of the way!
