The box in the picture contained 9 jigs that were selected for a trial run. Rough looking prototypes.

The two jigs pictured separately are from the missing slots in the box.

Conditions were 44 to 48° air, water at 58°, and visibility estimated at around 8 ft.

The fish were not biting very well but managed to catch six while trying all the nine jigs plus two plastics.

One of the plastics caught two fish and one of the hair jigs got two.

Based on that, the best hair jig was selected for further modifications starting with one very similar to the original. From there it went from quarter ounce jumbo with a 2/0 to 1/8 with a number two sickle hook.
