Im trying to expand my crappie fishing into using jigs a lil more in hopes of increasing my time on water by not having to go to bait shop etc...
I am looking at making my own rigs similar to capps/coleman rig but wanted your opinion on best weight to use with jigs as to not weight down so much that rod tips in water etc etc.....
I mainly use 1/2oz weights on double minnow rigs but before I go tying up a bunch of things wanted to get yalls input since using jigs is new to me (low confidence baits to me)
