Interesting concept. I had not seen them before. A felt pellet glued in there and soaked with Slabsauce might be the ticket for shooting docks

I think Slab did a jig with pieces of sponge on it and soaked in slab sauce. Might could use piece of sponge. Good idea with felt and Slab Sauce.

Going to have to be tough to withstand being repeatedly shot under a dock

I would think a strip of sponge cut and then threaded on hook and either glued or tied on would work, if I remember I think that's what Slab did. And then soak the whole thing in sauce.

I still don’t see crappie nibbles staying in that well. I can’t stand them. They don’t last. The ones I use are the corn balls. Cut them in half and they stay on the hook for a long time. Crappie like them too.

Maybe glue a small spot of deck carpet on the jig. Crappie nibbles last forever in carpet. I prefer the chartreuse one. They make the grey deck carpet look for bright and festive
