Drop Shot Rig

With the water up in the 80s the Gill have headed for deep water. We have been using a drop shot rig(slightly modified) with good success. I use a easy clip instead of tying the lure to the line.
We have a lot of small Perch in our lakes and they can ruin a lure in a short time. The trashed lures can be replace without retying the rig.
Components: # 8 aberdeen Hook, ultra medium chenille,kip tail or rubber hackle tail material. I went to the tail materials as feathers do not hold up as well.
