Default Just a flush -cut nipper recommendation

    Hey,
Through the years I have bought, used, and accumulated a small collection of flush-cut nippers for trimming the sprue after casting.A few years ago I bought a pair I like more than all the others used prior.
FastCap -flush cut trimmer does an excellent job of trimming the sprue off a jig from large to small without a seam left behind where the cutting edges do not align perfectly. They are kinda big(8") but after using them a few years I am used to the size.Amazon lists them for $22.84 and there are other sellers as well.If you are interested you might google"FastCap flush cut trimmer".Good Luck and enjoy your tackle-crafting.

I bought a small pair at our local flea market a lot of years ago. Gave a few dollars for them, a couple more than I thought I should have. Best money ever spent, and they have a spring to self open. Extra good quality steel. German made best I can remember. I have a pair of the generic style gate cutter and the steel quality is clearly evident.
