Blind Popeye

It’s a goofy little jig I tied from some leftovers on the tying bench a while back. 1/43 and I think 3 or 4 V’s and some olive thread. No paint on the head and a #8 sickle hook. It was the only thing that they would hit this past Sunday. Keep in mind that I fished four hours and caught one shellcracker before they started getting busy. Here’s the jig and a pic of the better fish. I lost another very similar in size and fight at boat side. Tried to lip him and bumped the jig, you know the rest. Point to all this is; it doesn’t have to look like a jig to be the best of the day. If you think it will work, tie it, try it and find out. I call it blind because it looks kinda like a Popeye but has no eyes.
