I’ve made one like that before, but not as sturdy bc it was lite wire from a grocery story rack
I find it better standing the way you have it, especially when your jigs range in length. Good job LRB.

I use an aluminum pan, (for making meat loaf or cake etc.) Place threaded metal rods across the long length and JB weld them in place. Place the powder painted jigs on the threaded metal rods as I dip each one. The jigs are placed far enough apart so the threads keep the jigs from touching or sliding together. After the pan is full of jigs, entire pan goes in the oven for hardening the jig paint. I have a number of these pans with different size rod threads. Pop
Sometimes I paint jigheads and to be sure I need a rack to let them dry .
That looks like a fine decvice to hold some jigs to me .
