    Default Tying My First Jigs


    Finally got all the stuff I needed to start tying my own jigs. They are not perfect but here are 2 I tied over the weekend.Name:  jigs.jpg

    Not bad
    Try adding a collar behind the head and stop it at the tip of the hook

    Those jigs will do well, I like the top one better than the blue for one reason. The top one had the tips of the feathers which give lots more action than that which is along the stem. Both will catch fish, no doubt. You had better take a cooler when you go cuz you'll have fish to go in it. The Chenille body also looks good, my first one didn't look near that good. Welcome to the board, looking forward to the fish pictures with your jigs in their mouth.
