    Well that is so misleading when they put fly on there! I can see how you thought these were poppers! Shame they are as big as it looks!

    Ive been making my own shad darts for years now, started making them to fish the spawn in the spring for White bass and crappie in the streams that feed a couple local lakes I make mostly two sizes, 1/64th and 1/32nd. I use a very small weighted float and wade the streams using ultra light action rod and reel. Its a blast.

    Good, I am glad you got the refund. I mean if these things are as heavy as they look I don't know what I would use them on. They look like they weigh 1/2 oz or even 1 oz?

    Technically she is correct. What is a jig? Fur & feathers lashed on a hook = fly. What's the difference between a leadhead and a beadhead????

    LedHed makes a good point, often the term fly is used for anything tied to a hook (jig, dry, popper, streamer). Jig Fly is still common in some old timey shops to name a jig.
