Default Older style phlatapus and chub bellyspinners

These jigs were done awhile back for a few jig swaps. I use roller swivels, mostly duck flank feathers, and EC BC Lil Nasty #6 hooks now. Mix all my powder paint and use a lot of holographic glitter. The emerald green has green glitter in it. The pink is a hot pink phosphorus.

Really good work Sonny. Never seen the platypus version before, way cool. I wish I had enough open water to troll something like those low and slow and not decorate the snags. Nicely done.

Think it's about 1/24th Tim. Me and my buddy Big Jim had 2 custom mold sets made of the "Phlatapus". One mold of the set is plain and the other mold you can add a swivel on the chin. The chin swivel was a later modification. The molds were made by a die cutter and were not cheap. Don't recommend going that route.

All that detail on a 1/24 is off the charts. I'll bet it wasn't cheap having those made. Sorry for the mis spell on the Phlatapus, I see the play on words now. I'm a little slow sometimes.

On a different note, what size swivels and willow leaf blades do you use on the belly spins that you tie so well? I have to do a few of my own and already have enough stuff that isn't quite the right size, I'd like to get it right the first time. I have ideas of where they will do very well. Thanks in advance.
