Perch jig color/size
Anyone have a jig pattern that works for perch?

Almost anything, but for sure Black or Browns will do well. I have a fly pattern that is deadly, but they need a fly rod t use them, lol!

Actually, you can use a ultra light with flies and poppers, I used to do it all the time! Just tie the fly/popper on, add a small bobber, preferably clear, and 3 foot up the line! The bobber gives enough weight to cast, then Inga finger, stop the cast just before it hits the water, this will turn the fly/popper over!

What kind of perch? If it's white perch, I'd be interested in something that WON'T catch them. They are bad on my home lake.

I've got a video saved on my fb page that my brother sent me of an elk claw crawdad jig that was supposed to murder the yellow perch but I can't share it from there to here.
