I have a long way to go but I done these today! My first day using feathers and I don't like how small my chenille is. But they manage to make em bite on Toledo! I can't seem to find what size chenille Joey Anderson use on his you tube videos.
Most guys use #2 on 1/16 Oz jigs and some places call that medium. Also if you get some chenille with Crystal in it (New Age) then I like #3 because once you add Crystal in chenille it's not as dense as it is without the Crystal. I use to get the #2 in that also, but it didn't take me long to change to the #3 for that stuff and really I also use a lot of #3 in just Rayon or Nylon, but it can be a tiny bit large for anything less than 1/16.
I think most places do not have the #3 though as they have #3 and then something larger than the #2 so maybe like a #5 is their next size.
