Nice ties...i've used them for trout, but I've not tried them for crappies yet. I've been thinking about digging out my trout boxes for 'gills.

I have tied a lot of Crappie Candy flies over the years, but I have not taken my fly rod out as of yet. Was going to a couple years ago, but the floods the last 2 years messed up our spring time crappie fishing and just stayed with my spinning gear when I went which was not a lot last year. Got board with it and found out about the relative new faze for bass using the punch rig for the really big bass so spent a lot of time learning that and will do some this year again, but now it's time for crappie also! I would say that mainly I want to get after the big Blue gills later on around May and that I love the fly rod. I mostly longline troll for crappie in spring time.

    Love the flies!
