I work in fiber glass at my job all day, lol I cant imagine tying a jig tail with it. Also it is glass, it will break. but anyway i just could not bring myself to bring it home and use it in a jig, I dont want to look at the stuff after all day at work.

This stuff is just loose fibers
They will flow gently around the hook, through twigs and branches, enticing even the most picky slab

Brett I must say you have found a material than eats me up just to look at it. What I would be concerned about is what will it do to the fish if you decide to release them back into the water. The micro fibers are going to break off even if you can't see them breaking off and those fibers can not be good for the fish. I enjoy seeing other people in this craft using all kinds of materials to come up with something we have never seen but with this one I would ask you to rethink using fiberglass.

(The jig does look good the way you tied it)
