    You've got it figured out! Your "first ones" are way better than anything you can buy in a store or that I've ever fished on my line. Really great jigs, don't change that style.

    Those are good no matter how long you've been tying. I see people selling jigs that don't look this good.

    Thanks guys. I have a long way to go. I must admit it's pretty addicting. My 2 year old son woke up the other morning at 0500 and I changed his diaper and put him in the bed with momma. I then proceeded to paint heads and tie lol.

    Done quite a bit of tying the last few days and these are some of my best. The rooster feathers are by far my favorite over hair. Doesn't matter if it's hackle or saddle I think the feathers are the way to go, but then again the fish will decide lol!
