    Default Hackle claws


    I save the extra Vs that I cut from hackle when tying. I stacked a few and pinched them off with hemostats and coated them with epoxy. They make some pretty nice claws.

    Good job! Yes I even post a jig on here once that was tied totally from scraps just to show, keep stuff! I keep everything even after I cut the tip off a neck hackle and the V's off, I still keep the rest unless nothing is left. You can leave just a little of a V on that stem and actually tie a tail of just using that or if small, maybe 2 of them can make a tail for sure!

    Keep all kinds of things and never know when it's just the right part for something.
