Couple more Grizzly Hackle Tails

At some point I will tie something with all 11 colors that I have, but here are 2 more to look at. Also am looking for ideas of what color body to try with some other color of hackle, like Pumpkin Grizzle or Olive Grizzly or Yellow Grizzly. Have a few others, but that would be enough for now if anyone has any ideas? I have some, but just want to hear more.

This one is Nickel Plated head and my Baitfish chenille with a Grizzly White tail.


Then under a Black Light to show the chenille.

I think the olive grizzly hackle would be a good natural combo with orange crystal and a watermelon head.
Grizzly patterns are used a lot in saltwater fly tying trying to imitate everything from shrimp to mackerel and it is probably underused in freshwater.
I was surprised at how well the hackle holds sharpie coloring.

Please enlighten me as I am new to all of this. Where are you getting the hackle tails, what size hook and weight. I really like the second one, I like blue body white tails. Still a great lookin jig as always.

I get my hackle from Hareline Dubbin and their stuff can be bought lots of places, but if interested in some send me a PM.
The tails are made using Saltwater Neck hackle. I have some slide shows and videos in the sticky post at the top of this board.
