Default Tied a few more tonight till dog ate a bucktail

Tonight I was tying a few jigs and went and got a bottle of water. I went back to tying and after a few I decided to tie a chartreuse jig. I start looking for my chartreuse buck tail and couldn't find it. I knew I had it out and should of been on my table. I start looking thru my supplies and its gone. I start looking around the house and I find small clumps of hair. I sat both dogs down and ask who did it. My my male collie starts grinning at me. That is their guilty tale. I told him you ate my tail so I am taking some of yours...lol. I took my scissors and cut a piece of his hind quarter hair and made a jig from it. The jig turned out good. The hair is soft and fluffy and moves like marabou. Here is a picture of some I tied tonight. The black jigs are from him.

Yes I had just got in a $200.00 beautiful rooster skin that I was very proud of as it was my first such. I had it on my table next to me, but I turns around to my desk to get on my computer. After a bit I turned around and my skin was gone and I stood up only to see my dog on the floor tearing at my rooster skin. I panicked and fast grabbed it away and started to sum up what damage he had done. In the end I cut the cape from the saddle, but other than maybe a wing feather that I didn't care for anyway was about only issue! Thank goodness, LOL!

so yes and since your dog has tasted the hide, you better never leave a skin unattended, LOL!

LMAO, oh heck yes you should! That hide will never loose its attractiveness to that dog! Makes a great chew toy, LOL! Now you will find his nose at work every time you bring out any kind of skin/hide!

You may actually understand my fear when I saw that dog and what he had. It was a barred Ginger full skin from Conranch!
