Catawba worm

Tied a Catawba worm today, gonna see if the cats will take it under my dock

I find that the black and chartreuse jigs I tie catch a lot of catfish. More so than the other colors I tie. I got it from a post on here a year or so ago, and it was called "Texas Avocado". That jig should catch them too though!

That's what fly tiers call a wooly worm fly! Try a little turf of red yarn on the end.
