Default A couple of blue fleck minnow heads I tied recently

These are 1/16 oz x #6 minnow heads I recently tied. The heads are candy purple with some micro blue flakes in it. The bodies are arctic fox tail with a under layer of roven wool to bulk up the body thickness. I read about it on another site and thought I would try it. Would probably work better on larger bass size jigs. Anyway I thought I would share it.

John I cast these jig heads with a minnow head mold from Do-it Corp. I then paint them with powder paint myself. You can buy similar heads from several sources.

When you use the wool roving where you tie it in will or can make a bulky head which you don't want. With the Arctic fox hair you wouldn't need much to bulk it out.
