Welcome to the board and site!

I have been lucky to be able to buy them for a long time now, but it took a lot of work to be able to buy them. As far as I know there is no way to buy them unpainted. I am not even sure I still can as it's been over a year since I got any, but then I loaded up with 2000 of the 1/32 and some 1/16. Have kept myself some 1/8 Oz ones as well just in case. About all I use is the 1/32.

First thing is they have to allow you to buy and sell them as they have a Trademark on the design of the head. No one else has the ability to make and sell the heads as far as I know.

    Sorry,

If you pour your own heads you can get the Pony head mold and pour your own, it's legal to make your own like that and then can use what ever hooks you want too! You could end up with a better option like that.

Skip ... would there be any law against buying RR heads, then giving them a acetone bath ?? That would remove the paint ... then they could be used unpainted, or re-painted in any color one would choose. Maybe that would be a cheaper alternative to buying a mold, melting pot, lead, hooks, blades/swivels, respirator, etc.

    ... cp

Heck their paint comes off pretty easy because I don't think it's cured, but for your question, once you buy that head it's yours to do with what you want. Only problem there is the cost of the painted heads. I am going to PM him to chat a bit and see if I can help.
