Nylon Vs Rayon

I am looking at buying a few skeins of chenille that I use all the time (white, black, flo yellow, pink) so I can have it on hand and those are the ones I seem to go through the fastest. I honestly do not know/remember what I have used in the past! Pros and cons of each please to help me decide which route to go!

Well most of them Nylon are the Florescent colors so it's not really one or the other, it's the color you want. For example the FL Pink is not like the Pink Rayon so if it's a shade of color you like then just get it as it will not come in both!

For my money Nylon is better, but most colors just come in Rayon! You need to go to Danville and look at their color chars!

Thanks for the help! I think I am going to cover my basics with the Nylon stuff in the Flo colors. I do know that a skein of that stuff will probably last about as long as I plan on tying!

well let me off this, most of the FL colors are great and that is the only one that has the Chartreuse and FL Yellow and others, but I don't like the FL Blue as much as I do the Copenhagen Blue for my use! Also for a darker Blue the Soldier Blue is very nice too.

Also for me it's easier to tie Nylon as is has no direction like Rayon does.
