you should've seen when I started out with when I was a kid the ripe old age of about 13 years old I bought the cheapest fly tying vise that you can buy and had a small table in my closet and I was lucky to have maybe 10 jig head which I got from another kid that I finished with what they were not unlike what we have today the four original like what they tied the doll jigs what I mean by this is they had a caller behind it had that you can roll your marabou around and tie it off that's all there was back then matter-of-fact that folder was in the sporting goods locally we had three different colors white black yellow this was in the late 50s and early 60s. how many of you remember the Pippin.

I keep my stuff in a tote and put it on the table or folding work bench in the garage or patio table when the weather is just too nice to stay inside! I think once the home renovation is done my old desk is getting put into our new Mudroom/storeroom/Tying HQ!

That's a good station if you're comfortable when you work. I think that's one thing some folks overlook. When I'm not comfortable I hurry to finish so I can take a break. Once I got a desk and an office chair I was set. Now I just need the time/space to get it all unpacked since the move.
