First jig

I have talked with quite a bit of you about making jigs and such. Well I broke down today!! I was bored so took a drive to gander mountain and what do you know a fly tying kit! So I figured before I dump a lot of $$$ into something I have never stepped foot in before this is a small investment to see if I may get into this. This is definitely something I can get involved in and enjoy doing it. I can tell this kit is of poor quality and not a lot of options. Actually very limited to colors and such. So I took out a jig head and figured I would give it a go. Here is the final result. Keep in mind the scissors are dull as stated the kit is of cheap material and quality. But I really enjoyed this and will attempt some more after this post. I can see where the finisher will come in handy big fingers with a little jig and half hitch proved to be challenging lol
