    Default A few crappie ties from this afternoon.


    Tied a few 1/16 x 4 minnow heads this P.M. Powder glow and UV Blast heads, krystal flash chenille and rabbit zonker tails.

    What colors did you use on the heads? Love the chartreuse! Really bright! What's the gray/silver color? Where can I get that paint?

    The paint is Pro-Tec glow pink and super glow chartreuse with a coat of UV Blast for the final coat. The Grey head s fresh poured lead head with a coat of silver holo followed by a topcoat of UV Blast.

    The tails are not wet.Never been in the water. I tied them a little different by attaching the rabbit hair to the hook and removing the hide/ skin from the tie. Makes for an interesting look I think. Thanks for all your comments.

    Interesting, you know the rabbit looks a lot like marabou in the water and I have done well using rabbit. Looks like that rabbit had kind of long hair. Should work well for you though!!!
