    Default The infamous Redneck Jig

I tied a couple of thread neck jigs yesterday before I headed out to fish. I used deer belly hair, red thread for the neck, and red prism flash. The first two throws landed two nice crappie. A fella on the bank hollered and asked what I was using. I replied that it was a thread neck jig. He hollered back I have to get me some of those redneck jigs. Oh well the neck is red after all and I guess the jig has a name now thanks to a stranger on shore.

Very funny nice jig to. I love it when people ask what are you catching them on and I can say can't get these in the store.
