I crack the hackle puzzle! But I want to say I am sorry. When you was how to make the gray ghost I said that I didn't have saltwater hackle and you said to use neck hackle and I kept using the other stuff and I hit you back and said I couldn't get it to lay the way I wanted it too. Well I got at it again got my Hackle box out and look what I found. Sorry to take you threw all that and still Thank you Kindly.

Just - with all the tying stuff I have (I also tie flies), it seems I never seem to quit buying stuff!!!! I went through my 35 gallon storage containers to try and straighten stuff out and found things that I've kept buying and already had 5 or 6 of them already.

I know we joke around with everyone when they start talking about tying their own and we always joke around and tell em RUN NOW!!!!!!!!! and don't look back!!! cause once you get into it you turn into a material junkie!!!!!!!

And the stuff in the tubs doesn't include the stuff for making jigs, powder painting or spinner making. Those are beasts of their own!!!LOL

Tell me about it Fatman! I spent every penny I had on fly and jig tying materials for over 10 years now and still thinking about an order now and waiting on chenille as I type this, LOL! The room has already run over and now tying stuff is taking over my fishing space. This entire room and cabinets are all full of fishing and tying stuff! I do have a huge desk I. There thats was actually my dad's at the shipyard when he passed away. That was 1963 and he was Vice President of the company then so it's a really nice huge wooden desk and have my computer and router there as well.

There re is a mountain of stuff in these cabinets and storage containers that I have never used and have had for years, LOL! I know where everything is, but what is actually in these boxes? I am sure there are several thing in there that I have forgot about, but it's in the box it is suppose to be in, LOL! For some reason. Have 3 Jungle Cock skins that I pad dearly for. I know there are some being sold for less, but don't know if their in country leagle or not. Also some of poor quality it seems for even less. I think if memory serves me right I paid something like $90 wholesale for them and most at shops were like $175 if not more. Anyway I guess main point is we end up buying a lot of stuff we really don't need to tie jigs and even foe that I would bet anyone that has been tying for over 1 year has bought some new to them material they didn't really need and just bought to see what they could do with it, LOL!

it is the way of this hobby for anyone that really gets into it big and o don't mean big like selling them, just tying for themselves!
