What I Tied today ..

Here is what I tied today !! One I twisted the Herl with wire And one I twisted with Thread .. Feedback welcome !!

Super Micro Jigs
Head- 5/32 glow in the dark brass bead
Hook- #10 red 90 degree Red jig hook
Body- Peacock Herl
Ribbing- red wire
Tail- black schlappen feather

Look nice. The Mono will hold better for you then the thread.

Nice, but maybe would look at getting some Sickle hooks in the same size and will give you a bigger bite or more gap between the point and the shank than a regular bend hook will. Looks like something Blue Gills would be on like white on rice.

nice job i like the weight forward jigs.i use the same method with tungsten beads and 60 degree wide gap hooks.
