    Default What I Tied today ..


    Here is what I tied today !! One I twisted the Herl with wire And one I twisted with Thread .. Feedback welcome !!

    Super Micro Jigs
    Head- 5/32 glow in the dark brass bead
    Hook- #10 red 90 degree Red jig hook
    Body- Peacock Herl
    Ribbing- red wire
    Tail- black schlappen feather

    Nice, but maybe would look at getting some Sickle hooks in the same size and will give you a bigger bite or more gap between the point and the shank than a regular bend hook will. Looks like something Blue Gills would be on like white on rice.

    nice job i like the weight forward jigs.i use the same method with tungsten beads and 60 degree wide gap hooks.Name:  DSCI0642.jpg
