They look really nice! Just a question about paint in eyes, actually just thought I would tell you the best way for me to open eyes that got closed and are cured is taking a bodkin I have that has a kind of thin needle and I heat that and stick it though and it melts the paint out and then just clean with thumb nail. Anyway you may already have a good way, but that's is what I do.

Nice but on the eyes I use hemostats to hold the jig by the eye when dipping. That way my jigs come out clean and no paint in the eye to have to deal with.

Cannon, don't feel bad. Right after reading your post last night I went out to the Garage to check some jigs I had painted. Was painting some ball heads and mixing in some pony heads. Well seems I managed to paint the swivel on about half them. Guess I just got carried away and forgot to cover them.

Actually for me, I tried using my stats holding the eye to keep it clean, but I went right back to my normal way as I didn't like having to continue cleaning my stats. I use a wood tooth pick to clean paint out when I am painting and before cure. I just sharpen each tooth pick to font though the eyes and as soon as I dip I stick the tooth pick in and clean out paint I find it easier to clean the tooth picks with my thumb nail and I keep them all together so use the same ones over and over. I am sure some I have used for 10 years, LOL!

After the cure if an eye fills back in (Doesn't happen often) I then use my bodkin heated to melt the paint out of the eye just before I tie it. Everyone should find what works for them and do that because all that matters is that you like how you do it!
