Story due to Ships Reflections post

In some pm's with Ship and his Reflections post I told him about something I did as a kid and he said it really needed to be posted to give everyone a good laugh, this is right from the pm I sent him!!

Making your own stuff reminded me of the time I read Vlad Evanoffe's book making tackle as a kid. Take old spoons cut the handle off, drill holes and attach hook tie on and fish!! Easy Right!!!

Didn't realize the spoons in the wood box were off limits in the basement that's where all the old stuff went!! Dad had put mom's good silver set down there and I cut up six of the teaspoons for copy cat Dare devils!!!!!!

Back then as a kid you'd get a butt kickin and while I got grounded Dad got yelled at worse for putting the silver set down in the basement!!!LOL
