glow chenille bluegill jigs

I found some off white "glow" chenille in my tying supplies. I have never tied for bluegill with this material . I tied up some using the 1/80 oz.Red Butt pattern that has been working well for me.
Have any of you used glow for bluegill ?
I'm anxious to get them wet and see if the bluegill show any interest . I tip with wax worm or salted shrimp bits. and there is a 1/2 mile of 30' deep water in the gin clear strip pit I'll be fishing.
Your experiences with this product would be appreciated.
