Well I tried another color and tried something a little different. This is Hawaiian Punch Lemon Lime Splash (on right)
Used 4 packets, 2 1/2 tablespoons of Vinegar, 1/2 quart of water about 160 degrees. When it got down to being warm I put it in the microwave for a minute and left it, when it cooled down I nuked them for another 35 seconds and then left it. Here's what I got!!

I'm liking those!
Very nice did you put the feathers in as soon as you started the process of warming the water?
Go to this thread http://www.crappie.com/crappie/showt...ple-of-re-do-s and it gives way more info on how I do it plus links to other info on it.
Thanks Skip - been having a lot of fun with it and learned about my mistakes. This site was recommended to me http://www.dyeyouryarn.com/Kool-Aid-dyeing.html and not only does it have kool aid but using food dyes and some cake decorating gels. Been doing a bunch of reading. No flourescant colors but I'm going to have to get Veniards fly dye for some of them.
Very interesting
