I started tying and fishing this jig this year, it has been working since pre-spawn.

Nice!! Gray and white tail, silver body and looks like a white pearl head?? Might have to do a few of those in 1/32nd and see if the trout catching picks up.

One thing I noticed just from the picture is that the swivel at the top looks like it's painted tight, if it is take a razor blade and gently scrap it until it gets cleared. Adds way more movement to the blade.

I agree, good looking bait and a nice tie. It would do well 'round here.

Thanks Guys, I took the picture before I put the blades on, I have been using a larger blade this year, a number 1 hammered willow leaf. I have been using vinyl paint and it takes a long time and isn't as smooth as powder paint. I want to switch over to powder paint soon.

Nice tie now add a little red or some black to that jig and see what it does. Red seems to work well on our lake but others like a little black. Just a little teaser to add on. I have a feeling that fish see the same lure so many times that they get very use to seeing them. Get them something just a bit different and they gobble them up. One of the reasons that I like to pour and tie my own pony heads rather that buying a OTC jig.
